Prospects employs more than 400 people in all London boroughs.
We provide information, advice and guidance to help individuals make decisions on learning, training and work through the National Careers Service (NCS) across the Capital including in all London prisons, and the NCS Inspiration Agenda which helps broker relationships between schools, colleges and employers creating links between industry and educational institutions.
We deliver the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) Work Programme as a subcontractor in the boroughs of Hackney, Greenwich, Lambeth, Southwark, Croydon and Sutton and Skills Funding Agency European Social Fund (SFA ESF) Low Pay Progression Service (Employment Plus) in Central and North East London for parents and lone parents in low paid and/or unstable employment to increase their wages and gain more stable jobs that lift them out of poverty. We also provide support to older unemployed adults helping them into employment through DWP ESF contract in Sutton, Merton, Kingston and Richmond.
Prospects works with local authorities to provide targeted support for vulnerable young people in Brent, Havering, Harrow, Bexley, Greenwich, Hackney, Barnet, City of London, Croydon, Haringey, Hounslow, Redbridge and Westminster. We also provide a range of SFA ESF funded services for young people not in education, employment or training in West, North East, South and Central London as well as SFA ESF ‘Careers Clusters’ to support school and college leaders to design high quality careers guidance in partnership with employers and higher education institutions.
Prospects provides the education service for young people in Feltham Young Offenders Institution. In addition to delivering the curriculum we are focused on raising aspiration and providing an alternative, positive future.
We run five events in London including Skills London, London’s biggest jobs and careers event, Capital Talent, the National Careers Guidance Show, the Heathrow Jobs and Careers Fair and the Heathrow Business Summit.
