Supporting young people in Bradford

Working in Bradford since 2010, Prospects holds a number of contracts to work with young people in the district, offering information, advice and guidance.

With a staff of fully qualified Personal Advisers, Prospects supports young people into work and training and helps them to deal with any issues along the way.

Prospects has led on the achievement of two firsts for Bradford:

  • In April 2013, Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) in Bradford at 5.3% was both the lowest in the sub region and also well below the national average, both firsts for Bradford
  • This followed on from success the previous year when in January, February, March and April 2012, Bradford had the best 16-18 rates in West Yorkshire for all three major indicators: the lowest adjusted NEET rate; the highest in learning rate; and the lowest not known rate.
