Prospects works extensively with young people across London, providing careers services and help to find jobs, apprenticeships or training, on behalf of a number of local authorities.
Prospects provides specialist help to young people with learning and other disabilities and difficulties. Prospects delivers careers guidance in 130 schools and colleges across London.
Some of our contracts are funded by the European Social Fund.
In Bexley, Greenwich, Hackney, Havering and the City of London we deliver information, advice and guidance targeted at young people most in need including Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) and those with learning and other disabilities.
We use many innovative techniques to reach young people such as drama workshops, our pop-up careers pod and our newly launched App for mobiles.
In Barnet, Prospects provides assessments for young people with special needs as part of our work to help students with learning difficulties and disabilities in mainstream and Special schools.
We run a Connexions contract in Brent which has been highly successful in reducing NEET figures in the borough. We also provide services for young people with disabilities and careers advice in the majority of schools in the borough.
In Hounslow we provide a specialist NEET adviser to the local authority, and careers education consultants working with the local authority in schools.
In Harrow we deliver careers services to young people most in need of specialist help, including those with learning difficulties and/or disabilities statements, young people on benefits and the parents and carers of young people using our services.
In Westminster we deliver support to young people aged 13–25 with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
In Redbridge we deliver contracts for young people most in need including NEET young people and 'unknown tracking'.
In Haringey we deliver contracts for young people most in need including NEET young people and 'unknown tracking'.
