Welcome to the Prospects Early Years Service

Prospects Early Years Service works to inspire success and support the provision of quality early years services for babies and children aged 0 – 5 years.

Prospects is the largest provider of the Ofsted Early Years Inspection Service inspecting and regulating over 20,000 nurseries, pre-schools and childminders in the UK.

We also work internationally to promote the quality of learning and care for young children.

 About Us

The first few years of a child’s life are fundamental in forming the individuals emotional and intellectual capabilities and set out the parameters for how they will develop in later life.

Investment made in a child’s early years can prevent them from developing social problems as an older child and adult and encourage them to excel in life. Early intervention programmes and quality early years services make a significant impact on the social well being of our communities and prevent the need for more complex and costly support later down the line.

We exist to inform, educate and deliver high quality early years provision to young children and the services and workforce that support them.
