Prospects offers a wide range of careers, skills and training services to adults, mainly through Next Step and the Work Programme. Advisers can help with anything related to careers and training; from how to get on at work, to finding what career is right for you, to getting the job you want. Support includes information on financial help and developing skills and qualifications. Advisers can use career assessment tools to point customers to the right career choices.

The service has two elements: universal, for all clients aged 20+, and targeted support for clients with lower skills levels or requiring additional help. Our specialist advisers help with choosing education and training courses, career planning, developing winning CVs and job search. Prospects provides advisers in every Jobcentre in London. Offender learning and support
|
|
Prospects provides careers information and advice services (CIAS) to offenders in custody in London through OLASS, the Offender Learning and Skills Service. We support offenders from the beginning of their sentence through to resettlement.
Our aim is to get offenders into employment to reduce re-offending. Our strategy involves training Next Step advisers, working with offenders in the community and creating stronger links with agencies delivering services in prisons. As we hold the prime contracts for both Next Step and OLASS, we are in a unique position to offer support to customers both in prison and the community.
Prospects provides services in Brixton, Belmarsh, Wandsworth, Pentonville, Holloway, Latchmere House and Wormwood Scrubs and we also help young offenders in custody. We were part of the planning team for the new youth offender institution ISIS, which opened in summer 2010.
