Unemployment falls to almost six year low

According to the Office for National Statistics, the unemployment rate fell to 6.4% in the quarter, the lowest since the end of 2008 and down from 6.5% in May. The current number of people unemployed is 2.08 million, down by 132,000. Prospects welcomes this news as it has been helping people into work on several major contracts.
