Pride Award for Education Team at Wakefield Youth Offending Team
Colleagues in the Wakefield Youth Offending Team (YOT) have won a Council Pride Award for their work with vulnerable young people.
At an award ceremony, they won the best team award for ‘achieving exceptional, record-breaking results in improving the numbers of young people in EET (Education, Employment or Training)’. They have been working with partners to deliver impartial careers Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to local vulnerable young people.
Prospects employee Hilary Adamson, who is part of the YOT, was given a special mention in the award. Congratulations to Hilary, and the rest of the team, on this achievement.
