A report launched today
by the Institute of Public Policy Research (IPPR) has found that by 2022 - 9 out of 10 most in-demand occupations of the future will be attained by completing vocational qualifications. The publication of the report coincides with the seventh annual VQ Day

VQ Day aims to give vocational qualifications the same level of recognition as academic qualifications. Last year more than 400 schools, colleges and work-based providers got involved in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Each year, Prospects supports thousands of young people towards their future career
by offering a range of careers information, advice and guidance services for young people on behalf of government, local authorities, schools and colleges. Students, their schools or families can also attend careers events
, organised across the UK by Prospects, featuring hands on activities as they decide on their career path.
