Sixth form students keep options open by visiting Prospects
Earlier this month sixth form students from Ernest Bevin College in Tooting, South West London visited the Prospects office in Croydon to find out more about opportunities with Prospects Apprenticeships.
During the visit they heard from a current apprentice fulfilling a business administration role in the Prospects office, and gained insight from a presentation on Prospects apprenticeship delivery model.
Ernest Bevin College student, Thomas said: “Everyone was helpful and I gained a better understanding about doing an apprenticeship. I was pleased to see and apply for vacancies.”
Kate Muir, Deputy Head of Sixth Form at Ernest Bevin College, said: “Prospects open day was useful and the information given was very clear and informative.”
Before leaving the office, all the students registered with Prospects Apprenticeships for future.
Okia Smith, National Account Manager at Prospects Apprenticeships, said: “We were able to connect with each individual and improve their understanding of what opportunities are available for them beyond the classroom. The feedback was really positive and we will continue to work closely with secondary schools like Ernest Bevin.”
Another open day has been planned for 16 April.
