First Pride of Prospects Award
Many congratulations to Sue Tombs for being the first winner of our recently launched Pride of Prospects Awards.
Sue was nominated by her colleague, Paul Welch, in recognition for her excellent leadership of the Leicestershire contract where the team have exceeded all targets and brought NEET levels in the area to record low levels.
Upon receiving her award, Sue said: “I was completely surprised and absolutely delighted when Paul presented me with the Pride of Prospects Award. I have worked for many companies over the years but can honestly say that working for Prospects has been the best experience. I could not have achieved all that I have without my fantastic team. They are what makes it easy for us to achieve so well in Leicestershire. Finally, I also want to thank Paul for all his support – he is a great boss.”
The Pride of Prospects (PoP) awards were launched in August to celebrate individuals who regularly go the extra mile each and every day they come to work.
More than 11 individuals from around the group have already been nominated and will be receiving their awards shortly.
To celebrate individuals who make working at Prospects better for everyone, we want colleagues around the business to start nominating their workmates for a recognition award. We know there are PoP stars in every area of the business, be that someone who has directly improved a customer’s life chances, or simply someone in your office who made an improvement to your day, we want to hear about them!
Paul Welch, who nominated Sue explains just how easy it is to put forward a colleague to receive a PoP award. Paul said: "When I heard the news that there would be a Pride of Prospects award I did not hesitate in putting Sue’s name forward. The process was very simple; I emailed my nomination and then a few weeks later we received the printed award in the post to present to Sue. Sue has always maintained a positive attitude and been an inspiration to everyone who works with her - it was a pleasure to give her this award.”
We will be announcing the winners at the end of each month, so there is always time to get your peer nominations in.
If you know someone who deserves recognition for a fantastic job well done please email firstname.lastname@example.org with their name and details of why they deserve this award.
