Apprenticeship opportunities and careers advice for young people aged 14+ will be on offer at Skills North East set to take place at the Metro Radio Arena on 20 to 21 September 2017.
Celebrating 11 years of success and delivered by Prospects Events, Skills North East 2017 is sponsored by North East Futures UTC & Virgin Money. It aims to inspire young people and open their minds to the range of employment, training and learning options available in the region.
In a post-Brexit Britain and with an evolving educational landscape, the UK is set to undertake a bold and ambitious change, which is why Skills North East is key in helping to showcase the range of opportunities available to young people post education in an interactive and dynamic environment.
Free to attend and with an evening opening between 5pm-7pm specifically dedicated for family groups, individuals and groups of friends, Skills North East is an ideal opportunity to discuss a young person’s future and help them take the steps they need to achieve their potential.
This inspirational and engaging event gives young people a unique opportunity to meet face to face with 50 exhibitors including potential employers, such as: Aldi, Babcock International, EY, Fergusons, Health Education England, Home Group, KPMG, Mercedes Benz, Northern Power Grid, Northumbria Police, SMD, Tarmac, Virgin Money.
