Birmingham hosts national conference
Prospects recently held their national managers’ conference, Our Future: Seizing Opportunities in Birmingham. The conference brought together more than 100 senior managers at Maple House in the heart of the city.
The conference focussed on the current marketplace and external factors influencing Prospects’ future and how employees and customers are at the heart of our work. Developing people’s potential is a key theme for Prospects, who are best known in Birmingham for their National Careers Service work and involvement in recruitment at Grand Central. The company, which employs more than 1,400 colleagues across the country, supports more than 500,000 young people and adults each year.
Andrew Coates, the Sales & Marketing Director at Prospects, comments: “We run conferences across the country and are delighted to be in Birmingham, in the heart of the Midlands, where we have been delivering services for more than 20 years. Prospects has a strong sense of social purpose and is one of the largest employee owned businesses in the country, bringing our conference to Birmingham enables us to highlight the deep partnerships we have across the region and how we work locally to support communities.”
