Croydon starts search for best local businesses
The search has started for the best businesses in Croydon as the 2014 Croydon Business Awards in association with Handelsbanken aim to discover and showcase the borough’s finest businessmen and women.
Prospects Services, which organises the Croydon Business Awards officially, launched the programme of awards on Wednesday, December 4th at a Fairfield Halls, attended by more than 40 local businesses.
Rose Saunders, Prospects Services, said: “The Business Awards gives every business in Croydon a chance to promote themselves to new and existing customers and to other businesses. You may think you are the best but the awards gives you an opportunity to get independent endorsement that will help you stand out from the crowd. Entering the awards costs you nothing but winning will give you invaluable publicity and a chance to win more business.“
The 2014 Croydon Business Awards have already attracted strong backing from local companies, including key sponsors Croydon Advertiser, Croydon Council, Fairfield Halls, Federation of Small Businesses, Handelsbanken, Jurys Inn, Owadally and King Chartered Accountants, Wing Yip and Veolia Environmental Services.
The awards are free to enter and open to any business based in the borough of Croydon. Companies have until Friday, March 21st to enter the awards which will culminate with a Gala Awards Ceremony in May.
A total of 12 different awards are up for grabs, covering businesses of all sizes; they include recognition for outstanding achievement in the fields of customer service, international trade and community support.
