Prospects raises more than £ 14,000 in 2016
Colleagues raised more than £14,000 for charity in 2016.
Corporate and team activities raised almost £7,500. Prospects supported national events included Sport Relief, Jeans for Genes Day, #GivingTuesday and Christmas Jumper Day. The 3 Peaks Challenge, where colleagues attempted to climb the highest peaks in the UK, alone raised £4,500. Teams also helped local charities, including Autism Wessex and foodbanks. The Work Porgramme in Somerset raised more than £1,200 for Children In Need by playing table tennis.
Individuals raised more than £6,500. Colleagues ran marathons for the NSPPC and Alzheimer’s Society. £600 was raised for The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation. £748 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support, including £205 by Rachael Carn-Stevens who shaved her head.
Prospects aims to raise more money in 2017.
