Inspiring success at Skills London 2013
Come along to Skills London, the capital's biggest jobs and careers event, which is organised by Prospects Events, part of the Prospects Group, in partnership with London First, working with the Mayor of London, the National Apprenticeship Service and the National Careers Service.
The two day event, on the 22nd and 23rd November, at ExCeL London attracts 30,000 visitors with the opportunity to try their hand at skills, trades and professions including hairdressing, beauty, catering, engineering and construction. Visitors can also meet employers including the Armed Forces, Barclays, Deloitte, Ernest & Young, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, HSBC, KFC, McDonald's, Network Rail, Next, NHS, Sky, Tesco and Transport for London who between them are offering more than 35,000 jobs, including Apprenticeships.
Mayor of London Boris Johnson, said, "Skills London is a truly fantastic event which I'm proud to support. It gives young Londoners the chance to come face-to-face with potential employers, try out new things and get their foot on the career ladder. With thousands of jobs available, it's well worth a visit to see the opportunities on offer."
