Dara Ó Briain and Nick Bell present the MJ Award for Innovation in Education, Employment and Training for young people to Bristol City Council and HYPE West Partnership.
On Thursday (16 June) last week, Prospects hosted a table at the MJ Awards. The MJ Awards celebrate the best local government services and personnel and have been held every year since 2004. This year, Prospects sponsored the Innovation in education, employment and training for young people award. Jo Miller, Chief Executive of Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council and Mike Burton, Editorial Director of the MJ helped Nick Bell and Marlena Topple of Prospects judge the awards.
More than 900 people, including the nominees, attended the gala night hosted by Dara O’Briain at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London to hear the winners of the 17 categories announced.
Bristol City Council and HYPE West Partnership was announced as the winner of the Innovation in education, employment and training for young people award. Belfast City Council, Gloucestershire County Council and Stoke on Trent City Council were highly commended. You can find the list of all the winners here.
