Prospects Work Choice team in Bournemouth commended by charity
Shaw Trust has awarded the Prospects Work Choice Team in Bournemouth an "Employee Excellence Award" for its continued commitment and effort in supporting Shaw Trust, and in recognition of its high performance. The team is currently in the third year of a five year contract, but this is the first time the award has been open to subcontractors. Team Manager, Grant McPherson, said, "The team are passionate about what they do and believe in their customers, so this award is a big boost for them. It is an acknowledgment of their commitment and effort in supporting people with disabilities."
Operations Manager, Graham Faint, said, "Due to the changes made in disability provision a more commercial and target driven element is required to run the contract, while still retaining the 'soft skills' needed to support customers with vastly differing disabilities. This combination has ensured Prospects' success in supporting our Work Choice customers into the world of sustained work. Grant and his team have risen to the challenge of change and their focus, commitment and 'can-do' attitude have led to them receiving this unprecedented award."
Louise Jones, Shaw Trust's Work Choice Supply Chain Operations Manager, said, "I am delighted to be able to present this Recognition Award to the Bournemouth Prospects Team. Grant and his team, on the Work Choice contract as subcontractors to Shaw Trust, have all shown a determination and drive to achieve high results when faced with increasingly difficult challenges and obstacles. As a team they have worked together not only to improve performance but also to positively develop new initiatives and change some elements in the way they work, to continue to grow the contract in Bournemouth."
