In partnership with the National Careers Service and Institute of Career Guidance, Prospects Events is responsible for organising two, forthcoming National Career Guidance Shows.
The events are designed for career guidance professionals who work with young people and/or adults to network, meet like-minded professionals and make vital contacts that will benefit their professional careers and those they advise. Additionally, in a time of changes to the IAG profession, attendees will have access to the most up-to-date market information. Visiting the shows enables them, whether they are new to the profession or have years of experience, to update skills and expand their knowledge.
Visitors will gain valuable insights and continuing professional development (CPD) at expert seminars and can meet dozens of relevant and helpful exhibitors including employers, government agencies, examination bodies, sector skills councils, charities, universities, colleges and training companies. Confirmed exhibitors range from Deloitte, Careers Europe, Apprenticeship Guide, US-UK Fulbright Commission, to Not Going to Uni. The organisations attending are committed to providing essential career information, updating visitors with the latest resources and developments to enable career professionals to provide helpful and relevant services to their clients.
The first show will take place at Leeds United Football Club on 28th February, and the second will be held at Olympia 2, London, 20th & 21st March.
The Institute of Career Guidance is the largest and most influential professional association for careers practitioners in the UK, representing over 4,000 members active in schools, further and higher education, adult guidance, the voluntary sector and private sector.
