National Careers Week 2013
National Careers Week is a celebration of careers guidance and opportunities across the UK. The aim is to provide a focus for careers guidance activity, at an important stage in the academic calendar, to help support young people leaving education. National Careers Week encourages education providers to bring together students, local employers and advisers through careers events and activities. Last year more than 1,400 schools participated. This year National Careers Week is 4th – 8th March 2013.
The sixth annual National Apprenticeship Week will take place from 11–15 March this year. The Week is designed to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the economy. Throughout the year Prospects works with apprentices and companies which take them on. This year Prospects will be supporting National Apprenticeship Week so look out for further updates over the next few weeks.
