Award nomination for 3BM
3BM, the mutual created by staff from three London boroughs, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster, in partnership with Prospects, has been short-listed for a prestigious BETT Award, in the ICT service and support category. 3BM focusses on delivering services including primary computing advisory support, financial management, IT and building development to schools allowing them to focus on education.
The awards recognise, reward and promote excellence and are considered by many as the most esteemed accolade in the educational ICT industry. To be shortlisted 3BM, as a nominee in the ICT service and support category, had to produce a short video showcasing their work.
This video will be part of the judging process, with the number of views, likes and comments taken into consideration. The videos can be viewed at http://bettawards.com/2016_finalists/ with the winners announced on 20 January 2016.
Andrew Thraves, Prospects Director of Education, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for 3BM to highlight their services at a national level. The video offers an insight into the 3BM’s work and how it fits within the Prospects Group.”
Helen Warner, 3BM Business Development Manager said: “We are delighted that the judges recognise the quality of our work, the way we embed our computing advisory support and scheme of work into influencing other teams, such as our technical support service, and that as employee owned, we are a new approach in the delivery of educational services.”
Prospects is the 13th largest employee owned mutual in the UK and was one of the first public sector mutual. Prospects are proud to be one of a small number of organisations awarded approved specialist adviser status.
