‘Passport to Opportunity’ for students at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
Throughout March, Prospects in the City is inviting local school children to grab their ‘Passport to Opportunity’ at a series of interactive career events at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Students in years 10 to 13 from local schools, academies and colleges are being invited to attend career events where they will engage with prospective employers and build skills needed for the world of work. Participants will learn about careers available in industries in and around the Park, including broadcasting, construction, engineering, leisure and professional services.
The eight interactive workshops will provide students with a taste of different jobs at the Park and offer the chance to meet employers who can offer practical advice and support. The events will encourage young people to consider life after education and the skills they need for different careers.
Passport to Opportunity events will take place at The Podium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on 4-6, 11, 13 and 18-20 March. Each event will last 2.5 hours and start at 9.40 or 12.30. For more information
