How will you celebrate National Careers Week?
This week is National Careers Week 2015, the annual celebration of careers guidance, in which Prospects is a partner. Prospects is celebrating by bringing careers advisers, employers, students and other organisations together for a series of career events and activities.
Prospects Events is running the National Career Guidance Show at Olympia on Wednesday 4 March. The National Career Guidance Shows are free and open to all careers educators, offering a chance to gain new insights, refresh your careers knowledge and meet new contacts to help develop your skills. Find out more and book your place now or book to attend the Leicestershire event on Wednesday 11 March.
Prospects Events is also running the annual Skills North West event at EventCity, Manchester on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 March. The event is sponsored by The Manchester College and supported by the National Careers Service. It is highly interactive. Last year more than 8,000 young people, their parents, families and teachers attended to meet advisers, colleges, employers and training providers from across the North West. This year the visitors can get hands-on activities including childcare, edible art, forensic science, hair and beauty, media make-up, photography, science experiments and sports photography.
