Prospects sponsors MJ award
Prospects is sponsoring the Public Health Partnerships category at the MJ (Municipal Journal) Achievement Awards 2015.
Public health is an area Prospects is already involved in through our work on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council, providing the Youth Support Team, and in other ways through other contracts.
It has been two years since the Health and Social Care Act placed responsibility for public health with local authorities. Many councils formed partnerships with other organisations to gain expertise and provide services effectively to meet this duty. The Public Health Partnerships award is an opportunity for local authorities to demonstrate how they have met the public health challenges they faced, and through pioneering models, techniques and services delivered better outcomes for customers. The awards are free to enter and the deadline for applications is Friday 6 February 2015. The winners will be announced at the London Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, on Thursday 18 June.
3BM, the first mutual joint venture to spin out from local government, of which Prospects is the private sector partner, was shortlisted in the Workforce Transformation category at the 2014 awards.
