South Cerney Outdoor Centre’s May Open Day
South Cerney Outdoor Education Centre is hosting its annual May Open Day on Monday 4 May.
The event gives people the chance to try all activities available at the centre, including archery, canoe tours, kayaking, Kata Kanus (a type of boating), power boat rides, sailing trips, stand up paddling racing. There will be competitions, including a themed fancy dress competition marking National Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you). Refreshments will also be available, with a hog roast and barbeque provided by Jessie Smith’s, and caffeine and cake by Mmm Coffee.
Last year 1,000 people attended. Here is some feedback:
Nicola said: "Fantastic day. Instructors great with old and young! Relaxed approach but I felt that kids were in good hands and safe at all times."
Andy said: "I thought it was amazing. Will recommend to friends and definitely return.”
Morning activities start at 10:00am.
Afternoon activities start at 2:00pm.
Half day tickets cost £10.
