Prospects' Diversity and Inclusion work recognised
The National Centre for Diversity Top 100 Index 2018 has been published and Prospects has risen four places to 43rd. This, alongside our nomination for UK Large Business of the Year at National Centre for Diversity Grand Awards, recognises our ongoing commitment to ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion remains part of our organisational DNA.
Our work, supporting young people and adults across the country, is dedicated to inspiring people to develop their potential. We don't judge those we support at Prospects, because we believe everyone should have an equal opportunity - whether they are young offenders, those living in care, adults who are long term unemployed, older workers, young parents, those who misuse drug or substances, care leavers or those wanting to improve their life chances and communities.
On receiving confirmation of our position in the index Antony Pearce, Director of QPMO and champion for equality, diversity and inclusion at Prospects, comments: "It is great news to have our work positively recognised, particularly when we are about to embark on a reassessment process for our Leader in Diversity accreditation. Going up to 43rd shows the hard work done everyday across the company by colleagues who embody our company values including promoting diversity.
"I believe our diverse workforce at Prospects enables us to be role models for those we support and benefits our business as we bring together ideas and ways of thinking to create solutions. Thank you to everyone at Prospects, for their support to customers and colleagues, it is our positive attitudes and energy which defines us as a company and enables us to inspire people to develop their potential.”
