Over £1,000 raised in Taunton for Pudsey
Colleagues from Prospect’s Taunton Head Office and their Work Programme delivery group worked with high street retailer, Boots, to raise money for BBC’s Children in Need. Playing a table tennis marathon, dressing up and collecting in the High Street the team raised £1,000 for the charity which supports projects across the UK.
Prospects has a long history of getting involved with fundraising for Pudsey’s piggy bank and this year the team worked with local employers and stakeholders to make a difference.
Prospects values are keenly aligned with the work Children in Need does across the country. Working in Education & Skills, Care & Support and Education & Learning to improve the lives of thousands of people, from children just starting in preschools to adults aged 50+ looking for work Prospects inspires people to develop their potential.
Tim Curtis, Team Leader for Prospects Employment & Training in Taunton, said: “Prospects’ team down here in Taunton work extremely hard for our customers across the county, transforming lives and improving communities. Children in Need is their chance to let their hair down, have some fun, at the same time as giving back and raising money for a really worthwhile cause. Many of our customers have also helped to organise this year’s events and joined us to help raise the amazing total of £1,000.”
