Prospects works closely in partnership with the Department of Work & Pensions in Birmingham, developing a trusting relationship which brings benefits to both parties. Recently we asked Antonina Robinson, the Think Family Lead in Birmingham for the DWP, to share her thoughts about working with Prospects. Antonina was full of praise for Gloria Smith’s work and the Inspiration Agenda Team who work as part of the National Careers Service in the West Midlands.
The National Careers Service South West team have been supporting shoppers at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway during the Summer Holidays. Shoppers were offered free support to help improve their career and during 31 July – 4 August, 113 customers were helped to take the next step.
Prospects are looking to extend their network of subcontractors to help deliver the National Careers Service in the West Midlands.
On Thursday, 6 July, Harrow Youth Stop organised a hugely successful event aimed at helping reduce the number of young people not in education, employment or training (NEET).
Last Friday (4 August) Prospects hosted a huge job fest in London to improve work and employment outcomes for lower-earning residents in the City.
