Ixion, a part of the Shaw Trust Group (which includes Shaw Trust, Shaw Education Trust, Ixion and Prospects), has received notification from the Ministry of Justice that it has been awarded six framework contracts related to the Prison Education Framework (PEF). The PEF is a framework designed to deliver skills, qualifications and vocational training to prisoners across England.

Prospects provides education for all young people within Feltham Young Offenders Institution. Louiza Nener, an employability teacher at Feltham YOI, has received a Prisoner Alliance Award from the Prisoners Education Trust, for her work teaching and supporting the young people at Feltham to write CVs, apply for jobs and communicate effectively.
