Prospects is a large, national company, focusing on education, employment and training activities, with an annual turnover of approximately £54m, and almost 1200 skilled staff in 60 premises. Our contracts, mainly in the public sector, range from £1,000 to several million pounds.

Established as a careers company in London in 1996, Prospects has grown and diversified steadily, and works effectively in partnership with local authorities, Learning and Skills Councils, government departments, local communities, colleges and schools to develop and deliver highly innovative public services.
 
Prospects is the leading provider of information, advice and guidance (IAG) services for young people, managing and delivering Connexions and integrated youth support services for more than 300,000 young people in 20 local authority areas across the country in schools, colleges, Connexions Centres and, increasingly, multi-agency venues.
 
Prospects is also one of the largest providers of IAG for adults, including management and delivery of the nextstep contract for the whole of Greater London 2008 – 2010, IAG delivery in all London prisons 2009 – 2011 and nextstep services in the West Midlands and south Yorkshire. We provide adult employment services to unemployed people, particularly in the South West. Prospects’ employer facing services include advice, training, workforce development, recruitment and vacancy handling.
 
Prospects Events is the premier events management company in the careers, skills and education sector, organising and managing a national series of skills and jobs events ourselves and on behalf of major clients. We have developed a highly successful range of careers publications, software and web-based guidance tools and are the major UK supplier of careers and educational resources to schools, colleges and mature learners.
 
Prospects Recruitment Services is a specialist recruitment agency for the education, advice and guidance sector, which recently joined forces with CfA, a leading search and selection consultancy for voluntary sector executive appointments.  Gabbitas, one of the most trusted and respected names in independent education, joined the Prospects Group in 2008 and offers high quality educational advisory services to parents and schools, guardianship, recruitment and a wide range of other services.
 
Prospects’ education consultancy and school improvement services include the innovative Leading Parent Partnership Award, recognised by the Department for Children, Schools and Families, adopted by over 400 schools nationwide. We offer professional training for learning, skills and guidance professionals within and outside the company.
