Vincent McDonnell is the Managing Director of Prospects, having taken up his position at the beginning of April 2008.

Vincent has a wealth of experience across education and local authority services. He was previously the Chief Education Officer of Richmond and subsequently served as the Director of Schools in Islington, where he laid the foundations to the successful turnaround of the education service when it was contracted out to CEA. He joined Prospects from CfBT Education Trust where he was Director of Learning. Vincent brings to his work a particular expertise in the field of special education, having taught young people with special educational needs in his teaching career. He then moved into a local authority role where he progressed through posts of increasingly responsibility and served as a member of the Education Department's National Advisory Council on Special Educational Needs, representing all education authorities across the country.
