Tamara began voluntary work to gain experience
07 July 2017
When Tamara contacted Prospects, she was unemployed and a single mum of three. She found out about the National Careers Service through her probation officer and New Futures.
The National Careers Service were very helpful and supportive and together with her adviser Tamara set up a lifelong health check plan. Tamara’s adviser also helped her realise that although barriers exist she could still make a difference to her future.
Tamara now feels motivated to do voluntary work to gain more experience to make herself more employable. She is also more confident she will have a successful future.
How Prospects helped:
Created a lifelong health check plan
Supported Tamara and showed her more positive outcomes.
