Prospects Events is partnering with London First to launch a brand new event for London. Capital Talent, the event for working in London.
Having worked together for over eight years, Prospects partnership with London First has successfully delivered the jobs and careers event, Skills London, to an audience of over 180,000 young people, parents, families, teachers and career educators.
Capital Talent benefits from this successful partnership and is a two day exhibition at ExCeL London, targeted at the 20+ age group. There is a clear gap in the market for a jobs and careers event for adults on a large scale that offers more than entry level jobs and aims to inspire the capital’s workforce to better their employment skills, their career prospects and their own lives.
Research undertaken by London First and Prospects showed a demand from both employers and education institutions for such an event. Existing exhibitors with Skills London and top London companies surveyed informed us that filling skills gaps by meeting adults with a range of skill levels who are either job seeking or in work and wishing to progress was vital to their ongoing business needs.
Taking place on 18 and 19 March 2016 at ExCeL, Capital Talent will welcome 10,000 visitors in 2016 and 100 exhibitors. The event will help Londoners into jobs and progress in-work including take-up of advanced and higher level apprenticeships. Capital Talent will raise awareness of training, careers and working opportunities leading to a better skilled workforce for targeted sectors in London, maintaining the capital’s prosperity.
Prospects Events will be working closely with colleagues in Prospects, the education, employment and training company, who deliver the National Careers Service contract across London, the Work Programme and contracts in Brent and Bexley as well as the Square Mile Jobs project and CfA, the specialist recruitment company.
