Prospects sponsored a roundtable event at the Local Government Association (LGA) Annual Conference with the Municipal Journal. The roundtable chaired by MJ’s Editorial Director Mike Burton, brought together a number of local authority chief executives across England to discuss the increasing funding crisis facing children’s services.

On Thursday 5 July, Rt. Hon. Sarah Newton MP, Minister for Work and Pensions officially launched the THRIVE contracts across the West Midlands at Birmingham Football Club. The Prospects THRIVE team were there networking along with Brenda Cabras and Kalpana Patel. 

Prospects recently sponsored a roundtable event in Exeter with the think tank the New Local Government Network (NLGN). The roundtable, chaired by NLGN Director Adam Lent brought together leading professionals from local authorities, Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), Further Education and business to discuss the employment and skills challenges in the context of developing local industrial strategies in the South West.
