Fostering to Inspire is an independent fostering agency developed by Prospects, providing foster placements on behalf of local authorities. Fostering to Inspire has had their first foster carer, Lesley, approved and are already receiving referrals.
To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, Skills London joined forces with Umbrella Training (an exhibitor) and supporting partners on Thursday 8th March to tour a selection of London based schools using a branded Routemaster bus.
Alan* was homeless and attending the Salvation Army when he first met an adviser with the National Careers Service at the Salvation Army’s centre. This outreach service provides face to face support for people who are unable to attend a more traditional office or Job Centre environment.
At the end of January, young people from schools across Birmingham and the Black Country gave their careers a makeover with a workshop organised by MAC Cosmetics and the National Careers Service Inspiration Agenda which is delivered by Prospects.
The Future of Work will be the main topic of discussion at this year’s National Career Guidance Shows, the UK’s leading series of free conventions for people passionate about careers, which kicks off in London on February 28 at Olympia Central.
